Publisher Verily Magazine, a women’s lifestyle and culture publication, is seeking a leader to oversee business development and growth. As Publisher, you will be the face of Verily and will work closely with the Editor In Chief to:

  1. Expand brand revenue by developing and executing a growth strategy that includes diversified revenue streams–including but not limited to:

growing our existing membership program (Verily Yours); product development and distribution; e-commerce; advertising; syndication and licensing.

  1. Lead investor relation efforts, including:

fundraising to support staffing needs of a growing business; ongoing communications with investors about business and revenue growth.

  1. Seek and lead promotion of the brand through earned media, public speaking, and other public relation opportunities. Qualifications: You are creative and driven. Ideally, you have experience in digital publishing and success in managing and growing revenue operations in digital publishing and/or experience in product development, distribution, and e-commerce; or you have experience in business development and growth that is not digital, but possess a strong desire to work in digital publishing. You are eager to work with a team to scale a relatable and engaging women’s digital publication and brand. Salary: This is a full-time position, with a competitive salary and benefits commensurate to experience. Location: You will have the freedom to work remotely from the place of your choice. Centralized meetings, if and when necessary, will most likely be in Washington DC or New York City.
