The primary responsibility of the Resource Manager is to lead Qualitest’s global marketplace to improve Employees’ experience and maximize utilization. The Resource Manager will report to the CHRO and manage Regional Resource Managers

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assignment of resources to each engagement based on corporate needs and the skills, capabilities, experience, development, and coaching opportunities for each resource. • Run resource global meetings and facilitate resourcing issues / conflict resolution with the appropriate Managing directors or Department heads. • Partner with leadership to analyze, enhance and support the most efficient means by which to achieve revenue forecasts associated with the successful delivery of all engagements, as well as achieve organizational goals to maximize productivity and resource utilization. • Partner with Knowledge & Innovation (Training department) to develop & manage a Cross Training program for the deployed and bench resources with the end goal of maximizing billable resource utilization and support Career aspirations of employees. • Manage overall training/ cross-training, hiring recommendations based on forecasted resource needs. Ensuring the right resources, with the right skillsets, available at the right times. • Maintain constant knowledge and visibility of – • Demand: Current and upcoming projects and business development activities as they relate to resourcing. • Supply: Resources’ current skills, capabilities experiences and career aspirations. • Partner with the People Partners (HR) to define career tracks to support employee’s growth and career aspirations. • Partner with Delivery and the People team (HR) to standardized objectives, approaches, and processes for onboarding, rotation, mentorship, ongoing feedback, and performance management. • Prepare management recommendations and reports regarding usage, availability, productivity, and billability. Regularly evaluate and compare planned/ scheduled hours against actual resource capacity and seniority (pyramid) required to successfully execute projects.

Additional requirements (other than skills)

• 2+ years resource management in IT solutions industry • Bachelor’s degree required. • Proficiency in MS Office applications including Microsoft excel. • Salesforce/Financial Force experience a plus. • Assertive conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills. • Clear and concise communication in both written and verbal form. • Ability to be diplomatic or firm when necessary in order to drive business forward or obtain results. • Highly detail oriented and able to work autonomously. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence and ease. • Ability to prioritize and organize workload across multiple groups.
